Set up your bedroom for sleep
Dark, quiet and comfortable: small changes that add up.
Somni team · Awaiting review by a sleep clinician

You do not need a perfect room. A few changes can make it easier to fall asleep and stay asleep, especially in a warm, bright city.
A quick checklist
- Dark: blackout curtains, or an eye mask. Cover small standby lights.
- Quiet: earplugs, or a steady background sound like a fan.
- Comfortable temperature: many people sleep better in a room that feels slightly cool; use a fan or air-con timer if you can.
- Phone away from the bed, on silent or do-not-disturb.
- A clear, calm space: move work things out of sight if you can.
